We set sail in the afternoon from Cala'n Bosch to navigate towards the southwest coast of Menorca, enjoying the atmosphere of the sea at sunset as we positioned ourselves in front of the Cap d'Artrutx Lighthouse to experience the eclipse at the best time of day.
During the crossing we will witness the change of light, the silence of the sea and the arrival of totality, when day turns into night for a few minutes over the Mediterranean.

📍 ¿Dónde está el punto exacto de embarque?
La excursión sale de nuestro puerto base en Cala’n Bosch (ver Maps)
Para esta experiencia recomendamos el Priority Boarding si desean ir en la cubierta superior ya que los asientos se asignan por orden de embarque. En caso de tenerlo podrás saltarte la cola y embarcar primero (puedes adquirirlo online o en el quiosco por 5€ más por persona).
⏰ ¿A qué hora debemos llegar para el check-in?
Debido al alto tráfico esperado y al gran número de visitantes en la isla durante el día del eclipse, recomendamos llegar al menos 30 minutos antes de la salida. El embarque se cierra 5 minutos antes de la salida. Por favor, calcula tiempo suficiente para tráfico y aparcamiento. El barco debe salir puntualmente.
🚗 Is there parking near the marina?
Sí, hay varias zonas de aparcamiento público cerca del Puerto Deportivo de Cala’n Bosch, a poca distancia a pie. Sin embargo, debido al evento del eclipse, el tráfico y el aparcamiento pueden estar más concurridos de lo habitual, por lo que recomendamos llegar con antelación. No podremos acomodar llegadas fuera de hora.

When the total solar eclipse occurs, the boat will be sailing in a prime location off the southwest coast of Menorca, near the Cap d'Artrutx lighthouse. Thanks to our collaboration with a group of professional nature photographers, we have identified one of the best possible spots to observe the eclipse from the sea, with a completely clear horizon. From there, you will have a perfect view of the sky and the eclipse over the Mediterranean. As the sun sets and the eclipse reaches its most spectacular moment, you will be surrounded by the open sea, the Cap d'Artrutx lighthouse, and the Menorcan coastline, creating a truly unique setting to experience this extraordinary astronomical event.
🕶 Do I need to bring glasses to see the eclipse?
No. Certified eclipse glasses are included in the welcome pack you'll receive on board. These glasses will allow you to view the eclipse safely.
🌤 What happens if the weather is bad?
The route may be adjusted depending on weather and sea conditions. However, if conditions do not permit safe navigation or if the eclipse cannot be observed, the eclipse experience may be canceled. In that case, customers can choose a regular sunset cruise or receive a full refund. This decision is made by the captain on the day of the excursion, based on safety and visibility conditions.
