Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the Beach Experience excursion depart from and at what time?
The departure is from Cala Galdana (view on Maps) at 15:00 (please check available days in the calendar). We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes in advance to find parking, as this can be difficult during the summer. Boarding starts 20 minutes before departure. If you have Priority Boarding, you can skip the queue and board first (available online or at the kiosk for an additional €5 per person).
Boarding closes 5 minutes before departure time.
How much does the excursion cost and how long does it last?
The excursion has an approximate duration of 2 hours. The price is €25 for adults (+12 years), €12.50 for children (3–12 years), and free for children under 3.
Priority Boarding costs an extra €5 per person and allows you to skip the queue and board among the first.
Which beaches and places are visited during the trip?
We visit coves such as Cala Macarella, Cala Mitjana and Cala Trebalúger, as well as hidden sea caves accessible only by boat and impressive cliffs.
What services are available on board?
On board you’ll find everything you need to enjoy the trip comfortably:
- Toilets
- Bar (view digital menu)
- Padded seating with tables
- Free multilingual audioguides with exclusive content on your own mobile device
- Background music to enhance the experience
In addition, our crew will always be available to assist you and make your experience even more enjoyable.
What stops and activities are included in the excursion?
We make a stop at one of the most outstanding unspoilt beaches on the south coast so you can:
- Access the beach via our pier
- Use the water slides
- Go snorkelling (limited stock available; a €10 deposit is required per mask & snorkel)
- Relax and sunbathe
- Discover local cultural heritage (Civil War bunkers and trenches) and enjoy a walk through a highly protected natural habitat
- Enjoy our “Reflex System” underwater viewing
During navigation, you’ll also admire the caves and cliffs of the spectacular south coast of Menorca.
What happens if we cannot stop at the planned cove due to sea conditions?
Your safety is our number one priority. If it is not possible to stop at Cala Trebalúger due to weather conditions, we will make an alternative stop at Cala’n Turqueta to ensure the experience.
Is the excursion suitable for families with babies and young children? And for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, it is suitable for all ages. Our excursions are short and the boat is equipped with toilets, a bar and space to move around while sailing. You may bring a stroller on board, although we recommend leaving it behind as access paths can be difficult for strollers.
We have a boarding ramp to access the beach without getting your feet wet.
Access to the Cala Galdana pier is somewhat steep, so we ask passengers to take care.
If you have reduced mobility, you may board first—please make sure to mention this when booking. Wheelchairs cannot be boarded; you will need to board under your own power, but our crew will be happy to assist you. Once at the beach stop, we recommend remaining on board, as the path between the pier and the beach is steep due to the highly protected natural environment.
If you wish to swim directly from the boat, we have two wide swimming ladders (pool-style) at the rear.
What is the cancellation policy or weather-related changes?
All our excursions are subject to weather conditions and the captain’s discretion, who may adapt the route to offer the best possible experience.
Our cancellation policy is one of the most flexible in the sector:
- Free cancellation or date change up to 24 hours before departure.
- Free cancellation or date change if we cancel due to weather conditions.
- Free cancellation or date change if we operate the excursion in uncomfortable weather conditions.
Your safety is our number one priority. We know weather can sometimes be challenging, so if you are prone to seasickness and the captain issues a weather notice (possible swell, scattered showers, etc.), you will have the option to change the date or cancel free of charge before departure.
If you have any doubts about the forecast, please contact us. We can advise which weather conditions may affect the trip and which won’t—for example, strong northerly winds (NW, N, NE) are ideal for the south coast as they calm and “clean” the sea.
Our goal is for you to have the best possible time. We know weather is an important factor, which is why we’ve created one of the most flexible cancellation policies—so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
