Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the Galdana Shuttle depart from and at what time?
The excursion departs from our main harbour in Cala’n Bosch (view on Maps) at 14:00 (check available days in the calendar), although this may vary depending on the different stages of the season. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before departure if you do not have Priority Boarding, and 20 minutes before if you do, as this allows you to skip the line and board first (you can purchase it online or at the kiosk for an additional €5 per person).
Boarding closes 5 minutes before departure time.
How much does the excursion cost and how long does it last?
The excursion has an approximate duration of 4 hours and the price is €25 for adults (+12 years), €12.50 for children (3–12 years), and free for children under 3 years old.
Priority Boarding costs an extra €5 per person and allows you to skip the line and board among the first passengers.
What does the trip include and what can I do in Cala Galdana?
The trip includes the round-trip boat transfer between Cala’n Bosch and Cala Galdana.
If you plan to visit Cala Galdana during your holiday and are staying in the Cala’n Bosch area, we highly recommend this service so you can forget about the car and parking, which can be very frustrating in peak summer months. In addition to being a pleasant boat ride, you’ll also enjoy the stunning south coast of Menorca along the way.
Once in Cala Galdana, you’ll have 2 hours to enjoy the beach, stroll along the river, watch the ducks or rent a pedal boat. You’ll also find a wide selection of beach bars, restaurants and cafés in the area.

On board you’ll find everything you need to enjoy the journey comfortably:

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a hat, light clothing, comfortable footwear, sunscreen and a towel.
Is the excursion suitable for families with babies and young children? And for passengers with reduced mobility?
This excursion is perfect for families. Cala Galdana beach is very safe, with lifeguard services, shaded areas and shallow waters, as well as a wide range of beach bars, restaurants and cafés.
You may bring a stroller on board if you wish, but we recommend leaving it behind, as access paths can be difficult for strollers.
We have a boarding ramp that allows access to the pier without getting your feet wet.
Access from the Cala Galdana pier is somewhat steep, so we ask passengers to proceed with caution.
If you have reduced mobility, you will be able to board first, but please make sure to inform us at the time of booking. Wheelchairs cannot be taken on board; you will need to board under your own power, but our crew will be happy to assist you as much as possible.
What is the cancellation policy or what happens in case of bad weather?
All our excursions are subject to weather conditions and the captain’s discretion, who may adapt the route to provide the best possible experience.
Our cancellation policy is one of the most flexible in the sector:
- Free cancellation or date change up to 24 hours before departure.
- Free cancellation or date change if we cancel due to weather conditions.
- Free cancellation or date change if we operate the excursion in uncomfortable weather conditions.
Your safety is our number one priority, but we know that sometimes weather conditions can be a bit challenging. If you are prone to seasickness and the captain issues a weather advisory (light swell, scattered showers, etc.), you will have the option to change the date or cancel free of charge before departure.
If you have any doubts about the forecast, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can advise you on which weather conditions may affect the excursion and which won’t. For example, even on windy days, a north wind (NW, N, NE) is ideal on the south coast as it calms and “cleans” the sea.
Our goal is for you to have the best possible experience, and we know weather plays an important role. That’s why we’ve created one of the most flexible cancellation policies available—so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
That said, we’re not quite as flexible with late arrivals! If you don’t arrive on time (no later than 5 mi
