Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance, especially during the high season months (July and August). You can book by phone at +34 618348006, on our website, or at the kiosk located in the port of Cala’n Bosch (View on Maps).
At the time of booking, full payment is required.
We accept cash and major debit/credit cards. For private charters, we also accept bank transfers.
Where do the excursions depart from and how do I get there?
Our main harbour is at the Cala’n Bosch Marina (View on Maps), and from there we operate most of our boat trips, such as Discovery, Sunset, Galdana Shuttle and transfers.
There are car parks near the marina and a bus stop just 5 minutes from the boat.
From Ciutadella: Line 65.
We also have a boarding pier in Cala Galdana (View on Maps), from where we operate the Beach Experience excursion.
- Cala Galdana is a very popular area and parking fills up quickly. We recommend arriving 1 hour before departure to make sure you find a spot.
- Another great plan is to spend the morning at Cala Galdana beach, have lunch at one of the local beach bars, and then join our excursion at 15:00 to be back by 17:00—making it a full day out!
- From Ciutadella: Line 52.
- From the Ferreries perimeter car park: Line 53
For our private charter service, please confirm the exact meeting point with our team, as it may vary during the season depending on mooring allocation.
What is the boarding procedure for excursions? Is there seat priority?
Over our 45-year history, and with the aim of offering the best possible service, we have tested different approaches regarding seating. We believe the fairest option is to keep the same seat throughout the excursion, especially for those who arrive much earlier (up to 1 hour in many cases) to board first and choose their seats, and also for passengers with reduced mobility who usually board first and need to settle according to their needs.
Currently, we board in queue order and seats are free choice, but once chosen, they remain assigned for the duration of the excursion.
Boarding starts 20 minutes before departure and we will only need the QR code on your mobile device, or if you booked through an agency, the booking name.
An exclusive advantage of booking directly with us is the option to add Priority Boarding, which has an additional cost of 5€ per person and can be purchased during the online booking process or at the kiosk. This allows you to arrive right at boarding time, skip the line, and board early to choose your seat.
To make the most of your Priority Boarding pass, you must be at the pier 20 minutes before departure.
Without Priority Boarding, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before departure to queue.
Passengers with reduced mobility and special needs will also have priority during boarding.
Boarding closes 5 minutes before departure. Please don’t be late—if you miss the boat, you won’t be entitled to a date change or refund. For operational reasons and to provide the best possible experience, we must be as punctual as possible.
What do you recommend bringing on board?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, swimwear, a towel, snorkelling goggles and, above all, comfortable footwear suitable for walking the path between the pier and the beach.
The beaches where we stop are in a protected natural area, and access from the pier can be challenging for some passengers as there is no additional infrastructure due to strict environmental protection.
Can I bring food and drinks?
We have tables to eat on board and we also offer an onboard bar service with very affordable prices (see our digital menu), where you’ll find:
- Soft drinks.
- Beer, wine and spirits.
- Coffee.
- Ice creams.
- Snacks.
- Hot sandwiches.
But you can also bring your own food and drinks if you prefer.
For our private charter service, please contact our team for more information.
Are the excursions suitable for all ages? And for passengers with reduced mobility?
Our excursions are suitable for all ages, as they are short and the boat is designed for seated travel, with space to move around. On the AMIGO’S boat we have two decks (sun and shade), 2 toilets, space for strollers, and a microwave to warm baby food or milk if needed.
The only potential drawback is access to the beach, as the path can be somewhat challenging for older passengers or families with small children. However, you can always stay on board, as the boat remains moored during the stop at the beach.
Access for passengers with reduced mobility is limited to those who can board without needing a wheelchair, as unfortunately we do not have the minimum space required to facilitate wheelchair access. Our crew will assist as much as possible if you wish to board.
The Galdana Shuttle and Beach Experience excursions are NOT suitable for passengers with reduced mobility due to the access to the Cala Galdana boarding pier. Please contact us for more information.
For our private charter service, it is also necessary to be able to board without a wheelchair.
Do you have audioguides?
For our boat excursions, we’ve created an innovative multilingual audioguide system available on your own mobile device!
These are the benefits:
No disruption. Loudspeakers can be annoying—information played at a high volume, in languages you may not understand, throughout the entire trip.
Convenient. Scan the QR code on the card, select your language, and listen to stories, facts and anecdotes while enjoying the stunning views.
Multilingual. Currently available in 5 languages: Spanish, English, French, German and Italian. You can switch languages at any time.
More content. This system lets us share more information and more stories, making the experience more engaging and enriching.
A keepsake. Take the audioguide home and listen again. It becomes a lovely souvenir.
Eco-friendly. Audioguide cards are printed on FSC-certified cardboard with CO2 compensation.
There will still be onboard audio announcements for those without a smartphone and to communicate basic information, but only in Spanish and English.
For our private charter service, you’ll have our experienced skipper to share the best information about the island.
What is your cancellation policy or changes due to weather conditions?
All our excursions and charter services are subject to weather conditions and the captain’s discretion, who may adapt the route to provide the best possible experience.
Our cancellation policy is one of the most flexible in the sector:
- Free cancellation or date change up to 24 hours before departure.
- Free cancellation or date change if we cancel due to weather conditions.
- Free cancellation or date change if we operate the excursion in uncomfortable weather conditions.
And what if the weather isn’t ideal? We know it’s more enjoyable to sail on a sunny, calm day with pleasant temperatures and smooth seas. While it’s not always easy to find that “perfect” day, most excursions take place in very good conditions.
On some days there may be a bit of swell and passengers who are not used to sailing might feel seasick. On those days, we usually let you know in advance before departure. If you’re unsure, ask us before boarding and we’ll tell you what conditions are like.
If we see that the weather makes sailing too difficult, we may be forced to cancel—above all for your safety. In that case, you can reschedule (subject to availability) or request a full refund.
Important! If you don’t arrive on time (no later than 5 minutes before departure), there will be no changes or refunds.
We do this for the benefit of all passengers—time is gold and there’s not a minute to lose!
For our private charter service:
- Free cancellation or date change up to 72 hours before departure.
- Free cancellation or date change if we cancel due to weather conditions.
- Free cancellation or date change if we operate the excursion in uncomfortable weather conditions.
Which boats do you have? Can you see the seabed?
We operate two boats: AMIGO’S with a maximum capacity of 126 passengers, and BORA BORA DOS with a maximum capacity of 12 passengers.
The AMIGO’S boat is dedicated to our excursions and features a unique system in the world—we were pioneers in this exclusive design: the REFLEX SYSTEM underwater viewing, which lets you enjoy marine life when we reach the beach. It also has water slides.
The BORA BORA DOS is dedicated to our exclusive day charter service with skipper.

Can I bring my pet on board?
We love animals! However, for reasons of space, the comfort of all passengers and the well-being of the animal itself, pets are generally not allowed on board. If you have, for example, a very small dog that travels in a carrier or always sits on your lap, you can ask us by phone or WhatsApp.
For our private charter service, please get in touch with us.
