1. Head south on the Me-24 road towards Sant Joan de Missa.
2. Follow the signs to Cala Macarella. The main car park is located approximately 1.5 km from Cala Macarella.
3. From the car park, you must walk about 20 minutes along a path leading to Cala Macarella and then continue another 10 minutes along a coastal trail until you reach Cala Macarelleta.
By public transport
During the summer months, there are bus services from Ciutadella that take you to the Cala Macarella car park. In fact, it is recommended to buy tickets online in advance. From there, you will need to walk following the instructions mentioned above.
Walking from Cala Galdana
You can park in Cala Galdana and hike along the Camí de Cavalls. It is a beautiful route and not very long (approximately 40 minutes), which will first take you to Cala Macarella and then to its smaller sister, Macarelleta.
