- Cala Es Murtar, a truly peaceful cove: it is a spot frequented by locals, very close to Mahón, heading north. In the traditional village of the same name live only a few hundred mostly elderly residents and some tourists in summer. So, if you are looking for tranquillity, this is your cove! It is only about 10 metres wide and 50 metres deep, and its clear, clean waters full of fish have made it a well-known place among diving enthusiasts.
